I like these but why do I salt and rinse just salt again? I’m a strong guy and mine still end up soggy I squeeze them in a cheese cloth till no water comes out Don’t understand why wet them then rinse and drain again

Definitely took longer than the recipe instructed to get the patties golden brown. Found them a bit soft inside and somewhat bland. Would make again but add more spice and possible some sautéed onion to bump up the flavour.

Very tasty! I'll have to work on flipping these as the patties stuck to the bottom of the pan, but overall delicious and easy to make. I'll definitely make again! I think they'd be good with a little bit of corn added too.

They turned out great! For me to make it look like the picture I had to cook them about 8 min each side on med heat.
