- 19 oz. sausage links (JOHNSONVILLE® Fresh Italian Mild)
- 8 oz. linguine
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- small onion (thinly sliced)
- garlic (clove, minced)
- 14.5 oz. Italian tomatoes (diced)
- 10.5 oz. chicken broth
- 1 cup broccoli florets

Directions
- Prepare sausage according to package directions. Cut into ¼-inch bias-slice pieces; set aside and keep warm.
- Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain.
- In a large skillet, cook and stir onion and garlic in oil over medium heat until tender; 3-5 minutes.
- Stir in the tomatoes, chicken broth, broccoli and cooked pasta. Cook and stir over medium-low heat until broccoli in tender; 5-8 minutes.
- Add sausage; toss to combine. Cook and stir until sausage is heated through; about 5 minutes.

i made it with Paccheri Rigati pasta because that's what I had. Basically a giant type of Rigatoni and although the dish turned out tasting balanced and hearty, I think the choice of pasta was a little frivolous. I will make it in the future, though and I'll use the liguini that there recipe called for and will probably update my rating. It was pretty tasty in our opinions

I made this tonight for the first time. I did not have Broccoli but stirred in spinach and kale. It tasted great! And start to finish in under 25 minutes, a keeper.

This works well with hot italian sausage and asparagus too, I have used this recipe many times and its quick and easy. family loves it.
