Oh my! I've always wanted to make a custard and we made this with fresh picked blueberries from our yard and made homemade whip cream to go on top! Fabulous and really easy to make. You must try this recipe! Thanks for sharing

It was a hit. Timing was fine, but because I took as desert to our host’s home, the custard was a bit heavy. (Too long before being served.) I would serve it again.

So good!!!!!!! And so easy to make. I tried the Strawberry Pecan version and it was a breeze. Leftover batter can be used to make mini soufflés! Those were a hit too ;)

wonderful recipe! the custard base is so smooth and silky. i actually added coconut flakes to the top just before i put it in the oven, as well as blackberries and raspberries in addition to blueberries. i also substituted almond extract for vanilla extract. i can't wait to play with the ingredients more, this is a yummy, easy, and versatile recipe!
