Description

This recipe provides a healthier alternative for that chocolate marble cake you've been craving. Greek yogurt makes this cake moist and dense, while cocoa powder balances the sweet factor with it's uniquely rigid taste, making an end product that is gooey and delicious, but lighter than most cakes. This Greek yogurt also adds an extra dose of protein to your dessert, so though you will love the taste, you will be less likely to be tempted for a second piece!

Ingredients

150 grams sugar
120 grams softened butter
5 eggs
2 sweetened natural Greek yogurts
250 grams flour
3 tablespoons baking powder (unsweetened chocolate)

Directions

1Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
2Beat the sugar with the butter to whitish cream.
3Add the egg yolks and yogurt, and continue beating until you have a very creamy mixture, and finally, add the flour.
4Beat the egg whites, and very carefully mix in with the batter.
5Pour most of the batter into a greased and floured bundt pan.
6Mix the remaining batter with the cocoa powder.
7Pour the cocoa mixture on top, and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
