Description

You can cut down on the butter with these yummy yogurt muffins. Moist and dense, stuffed with chocolate chips, you won't be sure whether you are having breakfast or dessert. These muffins make the perfect grab and go breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup butter (softened)
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 containers natural yogurt
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Directions

1Preheat the oven to 180 C.
2Line a muffin pan with muffin cups.
3In a bowl, place the softened margarine and the sugar. Mix well (using a mixer) until you get a cream. Then add the eggs and the yogurt and mix again.
4Add the flour, baking powder, and salt and stir with a spoon, just until everything is mixed, but without beating.
5Finally, add the chocolate chips.
6Place the batter in the molds about 2/3 full.
7Bake for 20-25 minutes. When they become golden brown, they are ready.
8Remove the muffins from the molds and place them on a wire rack to cool.
