Description

This winter jam is the perfect spread for toast, scones, or biscuits during the winter months. Made with apples, cinnamon, raisins, and pomegranate seeds, these warm flavors will have you spreading a little extra on your morning english muffin.

Ingredients

900 grams apples (peeled and pitted)
1 lemon juice
500 grams gelatin (sugar)
100 grams raisins
pomegranate seeds
cinnamon

Directions

1In a large pot, place the apples, lemon juice, and sugar. Bring to a boil on medium heat.
2Add the pomegranate seeds and raisins.
3When it starts bubbling again, boil for about 4 minutes, stirring constantly.
4Remove from heat, mix in the cinnamon, and immediately pour the jam into sterilized jars.
5Close the jars, and turn them upside down to create a natural vacuum.
6Cool in this position.
