  • 600 grams stew beef (cubed)
  • 2 carrots (roughly chopped)
  • 4 small potatoes (cubed)
  • 2 stalks celery (roughly chopped)
  • 1 onion (finely diced)
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups beef stock
  • 4 tablespoons plain flour
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 bay leaf
  • salt
  • olive oil

    Directions

    1. In a mixing bowl, coat beef with 2 Tbsp of plain flour, salt and pepper
    2. Heat oil in pressure cooker and add beef. Brown for 1-2 minutes
    3. Remove beef from the cooker and set aside
