Ingredients

  • 1 pound pasta ({I make mine fresh, but refrigerated noodles are the next best option})
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper ({fresh ground})
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1/2 cup parsley (for garnishing, optional)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan (fresh)

    Directions

    1. In large saucepan, heat olive oil over medium. Add garlic, red pepper and sauté until golden {about a minute}
    2. Add salt, pepper, wine and butter
    3. Stir 2 minutes, remove from heat and toss with pasta
    4. Garnish with parsley and generously add fresh parmesan
