Ingredients

  • 2 sheets puffed pastry
  • 1 egg white (whisked)
  • almonds (sliced)
  • sugar
  • 400 milliliters whipping cream
  • 200 grams sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 Celsius.
  2. Place one sheet of puffed pastry on top of the other, sticking them together with the egg white. Brush the top with egg white and sprinkle with almonds and sugar.
  3. Cut into sections with a pastry cutter and bake until golden brown. Remove from oven and cool.
  4. Whip the cream with the sugar until peaks are formed. Open the puffed pastry sandwiches and fill with whipped cream.
