Ingredients

  • 2 cans chickpeas (cooked)
  • 1 red bell pepper (diced)
  • 250 grams tuna fillets (Bom Petisco, in olive oil)
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
  • chopped parsley (to taste)
  • 4 eggs (hard-boiled)

Directions

  1. Warm up the chickpeas in a pot of boiling water.
  2. Drain water, and pour chickpeas into a large saucepan with high sides.
  3. Mix the red pepper, tuna fillets, onion, and garlic with the chickpeas, and season with salt to taste.
  4. Drizzle with a little olive oil, and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
  5. Serve with hard-boiled eggs.

This warm salad is very tasty. There are so many flavors. This can be served as a main dish, or a side dish. It is nice to have a dish like this on hand.
