  • 1/4 cup milk (lukewarm)
  • 3 eggs (separated)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 180 grams melted butter (cooled to room temperature)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 1/2 cups milk (lukewarm)

    Directions

    1. Mix the yeast with the cup of lukewarm milk and let rest 5 minutes.
    2. Mix the egg yolks with the remaining lukewarm milk and the butter. Add to the yeast mixture.
    3. Add the sugar and salt and then the flour alternating with the milk, flour last.
