Description

You will not even notice the vinegar in this cake. The reaction between the yeast and vinegar creates a fluffy texture that is light on the tongue. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and you will have a beautiful cake that tastes amazing.

Ingredients

5 eggs
350 grams sugar
20 grams vinegar
220 grams flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
margarine (for greasing)
bread crumbs (for sprinkling)
150 grams milk
150 grams sugar
30 grams butter
powdered sugar (for sprinkling)

Directions

1Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
2Grease a small bundt pan with margarine and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Set aside.
3In a bowl beat the eggs together with the sugar until it becomes a whitish mixture.
4Add the vinegar and beat again just to incorporate.
5Finally add the flour and baking powder and stir.
6Place the dough in the baking pan and bake it for about 30 minutes. Check with a toothpick, remove from oven and loosen the cake from the pan, without unmolding.
7Immediately put all the sauce ingredients in a small saucepan and heat until it begins to boil.
8Then sprinkle the cake with sauce and leave to cool inside the mold. When almost cold, unmold.
