- 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes (use more for spicier pepperoni)
- 3/4 tsp. mustard seeds
- 1 tsp. fennel seeds
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. onion powder
- 2 Tbsp. cashew butter (may substitute peanut butter or tahini)
- 2/3 cup water
- 4 Tbsp. ketchup (or tomato sauce)
- 1 tsp. liquid smoke
- 1/4 tsp. agave nectar (optional, but definitely use if you use tomato sauce)

Delicious recipe! It took a bit of effort to find all the ingredients but it was worth it. liquid smoke really added to the flavor. One mistake I made was wrapping the edges sloppily, so the links turned out hard on the edges. Proper wrapping would've maintained proper moisture throughout, still tasted great!
