  • 1 red onion (large, chopped)

  • 2 eggs
  • 15 oz. ricotta cheese
  • 12 oz. mozzarella (shredded)
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. dried sage
  • 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 tsp. dried basil leaves
  • 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • 1 heirloom tomato (very large, horizontally cut into 1/2 inch slices)
