  • 1 Tbsp. sambal (homemade, or use Malaysian chile paste)
  • 1 Tbsp. curry powder (yellow or red)
  • 1 tsp. granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. fine sea salt
  • 1 cup room temperature water
  • 1/3 cup frozen peas and carrots
  • 1 1/2 tsp. seasoning (umami, or vegetable bouillon used mushrooms)
  • 2 Tbsp. soy milk (unsweetened)
  • 1 Tbsp. maple syrup
  • white sesame seeds (for sprinkling)
