Description
These soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies are made without any dairy or eggs! The recipe is a Yummly original created by Sara Mellas.
Ingredients

- 1/2 cup coconut oil (melted)
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar (packed)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup nondairy milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/4 cups vegan chocolate chips

Directions
- Line two baking sheets with silicone baking mats or parchment paper. Set aside.
- Place the coconut oil, brown sugar, granulated sugar, nondairy milk, and vanilla extract in a medium bowl. Whisk until smooth and combined.
- Add the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt to the bowl. Mix with a rubber spatula until a smooth dough forms. Fold in the chocolate chips.

The cookies are nice but because of the baking soda they taste a little bit bread-like.
Also I found out that 118ml coconut oil is 105/110g of solid coconut oil (melted or not doesn't matter for the weight of course).
Bit weird to express it in milliliters because coconut oil does not have the same density as water so 118ml is not equal to 118g. How are you going to measure that on your scale or take that amount? Just take approximately one fifth of a jar of coconut oil?
But besides that I'm satisfied with the results, so thumbs up.
