I made these for the Fourth of July and they were a big hit! Cream cheese frosting goes very well with the cupcakes. I also used red white and blue sprinkles. So cute!

Great! Moist and amazing soft crumbs. My only problem was the last step to add the second half of dry ingredients then fold that created lumps. You are not supposed to over mix here but I used the hand mixer on low for a little. I did have some lumps but left it and they still came out great. Any suggestions would be great.

Excellent. Left out the milk and substituted water but it was pretty good. Definitely a 'go to' for vanilla cupcakes

It's was pretty good. Didn't knock my socks off but would definitely make again. I can see how it would be easy to add cocoa. The cupcake batter was so thick I had to more milk. In the end it was a dense, sweet cake, which I'm not a huge fan of but some people do so that's cool too. I gonna try to figure out how to make if a bit lighter.

Great! Great! Great! 2 consistent batches of vanilla cupcakes and I played around with the third to make a purple velvet cupcake. First batch of frosting was the buttercream listed, sub lemon zest for juice. Last two batches I added 2 Kerrygold Dubliner cheese wedges to each and they were the perfect blend. I would recommend this recipe any day!
