Super good and not dry

I made these for the Fourth of July and they were a big hit! Cream cheese frosting goes very well with the cupcakes. I also used red white and blue sprinkles. So cute!

Great! Moist and amazing soft crumbs. My only problem was the last step to add the second half of dry ingredients then fold that created lumps. You are not supposed to over mix here but I used the hand mixer on low for a little. I did have some lumps but left it and they still came out great. Any suggestions would be great.

Excellent. Left out the milk and substituted water but it was pretty good. Definitely a 'go to' for vanilla cupcakes
Alyssia T. 22 Feb 2017
This recipe is delicious.. They came out great even though I used skimmed milk. I'll definitely bake again!

It's was pretty good. Didn't knock my socks off but would definitely make again. I can see how it would be easy to add cocoa. The cupcake batter was so thick I had to more milk. In the end it was a dense, sweet cake, which I'm not a huge fan of but some people do so that's cool too. I gonna try to figure out how to make if a bit lighter.

Great! Great! Great! 2 consistent batches of vanilla cupcakes and I played around with the third to make a purple velvet cupcake. First batch of frosting was the buttercream listed, sub lemon zest for juice. Last two batches I added 2 Kerrygold Dubliner cheese wedges to each and they were the perfect blend. I would recommend this recipe any day!

Easy & delicious! This is my go to for vanilla cupcakes. Tates great with a simple butter cream frosting.
Emma M. 19 Dec 2016
Amazing! I made them for my hockey team Christmas party and they all loved them and asked for the recipe!
Chelsea H. 1 Dec 2016
I don't know where I went wrong- well 1% milk instead of buttercream may have been the reason?. My cupcakes broke and the center completely sunk on all regular sized cupcakes..
Samari R. 6 Aug 2016
Sencilla y riquisima receta, le añadí mas tres cucharadas de vainilla en vez de una que lleva la receta. Mi hijo le encanta esta receta😍❤️, se la hago una y otra vez!
Jessica D. 5 Jun 2016
Awful! These did not turn out well at all. Spread up and out of the cups and sunk in the middle. I don't know what happened. Maybe elevation? 5280ft

The best cupcake recipe that I tried. If you're looking for a very fluffy and airy cupcake, this is not it. If you're looking for a recipe for cupcakes that is between light and airy and moist, this is it, The only thing I changed with the recipe is the amount of vanilla I add. I added tons more!
