    On a scale of 1 to 5 this deserves every bit of a 10! The whole family was bowing down. I made it with very well spiced ground turkey and super-diced onion (almost melted into the ground meat). I won't get a chance to forget to make this, family will be begging for it.

    this recipe is a pretty neat trick. deceptively simple, yet produces "velveeta shells and cheese" type results. i dub this "cheater mac and cheese", as baked is what typically comes to mind when i think of making mac and cheese, but this is easy and simple enough to become a "go to" recipe in my repetoire.

    So I changed the cheese to CoJack and used evaporated milk instead of cream, but it turned out sooooo good and cheesy! I also used whole wheat rotini and MAN it turned out good.

    oh my God! didn't think it was gonna come out as good as it did cause when i mixed sauce with noodles was runny but after sitting for few minutes thickened up and was fantastic! will absolutely make this again!

    This is my go-to base for Gluten Free Mac and Cheese. I use less butter (about 1/2 cup) and instead of cream I use 1/2 whole milk and 1/2 pasta water. I also add about 1/4-1/2 cup fresh grated Warm. Turns out great for us! We have added hotdogs; cajun seasoning; bacon; asparagus and mushrooms; green onions; broccoli; all kinds of things to this recipe. I always save pasta water in case it gets a little bit too thick and that does the trick.

    Great recipe, fast and easy for week day diner. I added only 1 tsp of salt since we put 100g of cooked bacon but the next time we’ll put only 1/2 tsp of salt since the bacon added more salt then we thought. Plus as a final touch we added some chopped green onions. 👍

    My picky 3 yr old asked for seconds! Also, I only used one stick of butter, and added some shredded cheddar and frank's red hot for flavor.

    Delicious!!! Halved the recipe with no problem. Added some cheddar jack to the blended cheese sauce, yum!!! Will be making again for sure!
