Ingredients

  • 12 ounces tuna in oil (drained, flaked)
  • 2 green onions (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 12 slices bread
  • 2 cups watercress leaves

Directions

  1. Mix tuna, onions, mayonnaise and lemon juice in a large bowl. Season to taste.
  2. Spread the tuna mixture over each slice of bread. Cover four slices with watercress and top each of these with two slices of bread, tuna side down. Remove the crusts and cut each into three finger sandwiches.
