Tuna Rillettes

This tuna rillette takes few cues from the traditional dish. Canned tuna is mixed with cottage cheese then seasoned with salt, pepper, and curry for a dish that has tons of flavor. A sprinkling of fresh chives adds a little freshness and after a little rest in the fridge you can enjoy it with some toasted bread or breadsticks. This dish makes a great appetizer when entertaining a crowd.
Ingredients
- 150 grams cottage cheese
- 160 grams tuna in oil
- 1 bunch chives
- curry
- salt
- ground black pepper
Directions
- 1Drain the tuna and place in a bowl.
- 2Mix the tuna with the cottage cheese.
- 3Add curry, salt, and pepper to taste.
- 4Finely mince the chives and add to mixture.
- 5Keep the rillettes cool for at least 30 minutes, before serving alongside slices of bread, breadsticks, or vegetable sticks.
