All the goodness of a pot pie with a slight twist, this delectable tuna pastry is filled with vegetables, cheese, and hardboiled eggs for additional protein. A great meal that can be prepared and assembled ahead of time.

Ingredients

  • 1 puff pastry
  • 3 cans tuna
  • 200 grams frozen broccoli
  • 100 grams frozen corn
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 100 grams mozzarella (grated)
  • garlic powder (as needed)
  • salt (as needed)
  • chives (as needed)

Directions

  1. Put the eggs in a large saucepan of salted water. Bring to a boil.
  2. When eggs are half cooked, add the broccoli and corn. Do not overcook.
  3. In a large bowl, add the well drained tuna. Add the mayonnaise, season with garlic powder, and add a bit of finely chopped chives.
  4. Drain the broccoli, corn, and eggs.
  5. Peel the eggs.
  6. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  7. Add the broccoli and corn to the tuna, and mix well.
  8. Spread this mixture on the bottom of a rectangular baking pan.
  9. Spread the sliced eggs on top, and cover with grated cheese.
  10. Spread the puff pastry on top, and make some light creases with a knife.
  11. Bake until the dough is golden brown.

Awesome tuna pastry recipe. Fairly simple yet super delicious and packed with flavor. Also doesn't take much time to make. I love adding corn in with things that have a creamy consistency, it adds the perfect little crunch. This dish is very creamy. I love this dish! I have already added it to my list of favorite recipes.
