Description
Oftentimes in a home kitchen you will find a traditional dish that is stored in the cold temperature for a snack in a rush. This Tuna Pasta Salad is the perfect dish for this use. It can be prepared and saved in the fridge for the family to enjoy at any time. The great thing about doing this is it can be eaten when you are in a rush or not in the mood to cook. - pasta
- 150 grams penne
- 1 carrot
- 1/3 cup onion
- 1 tomato
- 3 jalapeno peppers
- 4 tsp. parsley
- 2 cups lettuce
- 2 cans tuna
- avocado
- 1/4 cup juice
- 1 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1 tsp. light mayonnaise

Directions
- Prepare the pasta until well done, following the instructions on the package. Drain well and rinse with cold water. Set aside.
- Mix the carrot, onion, tomato, jalapenos, parsley, lettuce, tuna, and pasta together in a large salad bowl.
- Whisk together the pickled jalapeno juice, mustard, and mayonnaise and mix into the salad.
- Serve topped with avocado slices.
