Description

These tuna fillets are accompanied by rich tomato and onion flavors. With a hint of lemon, these tuna fillets make a great lunch accompanied by french fries or your favorite side.

Ingredients

  • olive oil (to taste)
  • 2 onions (medium, slices)
  • 4 garlic cloves (slices)
  • 1/2 red pepper (cut in strips)
  • 3 sprigs coriander
  • 6 tuna fillets
  • salt (to taste)
  • lemon juice (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • french fries

Directions

  1. Heat a large and deep pan with olive oil, add the onion, garlic, tomato, bell pepper, and coriander.
  2. When mixture starts to boil, add the tuna fillets, and season with salt, lemon juice, and tomato paste. Lower heat, cover the pan, and cook for about 10 minutes. Turn the fillets over, and cook for another 5 minutes.
  3. While the tuna cooks, fry the French fries.
  4. Serve hot.
