Description

All of your favorite things about fettuccine alfredo comes to this creamy pasta dish. Made with tuna, bacon, tomatoes, and mushrooms, this fettuccine dish is a complete meal. Can be made with gluten free fettuccine.

Ingredients

300 grams fettucine
olive oil (as needed)
75 grams bacon
100 grams fresh mushrooms
1/2 red pepper (small, finely chopped)
2 tomatoes (finely chopped)
3 cans tuna (natural)
200 milliliters cream (herbal cooking, Parmalat)
coriander (as needed)

Directions

1Heat a pot of salted water to boiling. Add the pasta.
2Heat a little olive oil in a large frying pan, and saute bacon and mushroom slices until golden.
3Add the peppers and tomatoes, mix.
4Add the tuna and a pinch of salt, mix.
5Remove from heat.
6When the pasta is cooked, remove from heat, and drain in a colander. Set aside.
7Add cream to pasta pan, and bring to boil over medium heat. Add the fettuccine and mix well.
8Serve the fettuccine on individual plates, top with the tuna, and sprinkle with fresh coriander.
