This tasty recipe for Tuna Burgers with Carrot and Raisin Salad takes about an hour to prepare, but will make your mouth so happy.   • 2 hamburger buns
  • 2 cans tuna (in water, drained)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons parsley (minced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (marinated, minced)
  • 1/2 lime
  • salt and ground black pepper
  • cooking spray
  • light mayonnaise
  • tomato (sliced)
  • onion (cut into half moons)
  • lettuce
  • 4 carrots (peeled and grated)
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon cream
  • salt and ground black pepper


  1. Mix the tuna, egg, bread crumbs, parsley, garlic, lime juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Divide into 2 sections and form into patties.
  2. Cook each patty in a little cooking spray on high heat until golden brown, about 5 minutes on each side.
  3. Spread half of each bun with mayonnaise. Layer lettuce, the tuna burgers, tomato, and onion, and cover with the other half of the bun.
  4. Make the salad by mixing the carrots, raisins, mayonnaise, cream, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix well, cover, and refrigerate 30 minutes before serving.

I had never tasted a tuna burger before and tried this recipe. It was absolutely the best way I had ever eaten tuna. I will absolutely keep this recipe to use again. The salad was great too and balanced the burger perfectly.
