  • 1 package roll (Jimmy Dean® Regular Flavor Pork Sausage)
  • 1.25 ounces taco seasoning mix
  • 3 bell peppers (medium, cut in half lengthwise and seeded)
  • 1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese

    Directions

    1. 1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Cook sausage in large skillet over medium-high heat 8-10 minutes or until thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently; drain.
    2. 2. Stir in taco seasoning mix and amount of water as indicated on taco seasoning package and prepare according to package directions. Stir in 1 cup cheese; mix lightly.
    3. 3. Fill pepper halves with sausage mixture and arrange in a 13x9-inch baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes or until thoroughly cooked and peppers are tender, removing foil in last 5-10 minutes of baking. Top with additional cheese before serving, if desired.
