  • 1 pound halibut fillets (skin removed, cut in four portions)
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups tortilla chips (crushed, fine but not into a powder)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 1/2 pounds tomatillos
  • 1/2 white onion (rough chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (lightly crushed)
  • 1 jalapeno chilies (rough chopped, seeds removed depending on taste)
  • 1/2 bunch cilantro (rough chop)
  • 2 lime (juiced)
  • 1/3 cup crema mexican (or sour cream)
  • 1/2 bunch cilantro (fine chop)
  • 1/2 lime (juice and zest)

    Directions

    1. Mix together and refrigerate until ready to use.
    2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
