Description
Here's a simple spread to have on hand for a toast topping, either for a kid's afterschool snack or to serve as a grown-up party nibble. Cottage cheese provides creaminess when blended with the other ingredients, including tomatoes, onion, garlic, fresh herbs, olive oil, and lime or lemon juice. If making ahead, taste again after refrigerating and add more juice as needed.

- 1/2 onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 Tbsp. basil
- 1 Tbsp. oregano
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil

Directions
- In the blender, grind the cottage cheese, tomatoes, onion, garlic, basil, and oregano.
- Add olive oil and lime juice and mix well.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Serve with mini toasts.
