Tomato Salad with Mozzarella and BasilMarmita
Find yourself the ripest, sweetest tomatoes possible (preferably from your own garden) when preparing this interesting update on the classic Caprese salad, since their flavor will carry the day for sure. The tomatoes are cut into uniform dice along with some crunchy radishes (any variety will do here) and then combined with creamy mozzarella cheese and fresh basil leaves before being drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with salt, pepper, and finally sesame seeds.
- 4 tomatoes (ripe)
- mozzarella cheese (to taste)
- radishes (to taste)
- sesame seeds (to taste)
- 2 leaves basil
- olive oil
- 1Cut the tomatoes and radishes into cubes, mix with the mozzarella and basil leaves. Season with salt, pepper and olive oil. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
