Tweaked by adding 1/2 tsp each garlic and onion powder, 1 tsp dried oregano and 1 TBSP pesto. Filled about 30 jumbo shells. Devoured by guest!

This is a yummy recipe. I loved the flavor and the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the difficulty I had stuffing the manicotti shells. I made the recipe as shown except I only used one jar of pasta sauce. Using two jars seemed like way to much to me. After making it and having the difficult time I did stuffing the pasta shells, I read some reviews. Using a plastic bag to pipe the manicotti filling into the shells sounds like a far easier technique than the one I used...my fingers and a spoon! I will definitely try piping the filling next time. That being said, this manicotti dish has great flavor. My husband and kids all liked it, as did I. I will make it again for sure. I plan on making it for an upcoming church potluck. I think it will be very well received!
