- 1/3 cup beef broth (I used Better Than Bouillon Beef Base)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 2 eggs (lightly beaten)
- 1 pinch ground thyme
- 2 pinches parsley
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 4 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 cups red onion (diced)
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 5 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons pepper (optional)

I seen this and wanted to try it out and it was so good bearly have any left overs the only thing I would change next time is just not as much brown sugar on the top or add as much pepper as is called for i was afraidit might be alittle to much pepper,but my daughter loved the sweet ketchup....I will defiently be making this again thank you!!!

absolutley fantastic! i wrapped mine in bacon and it was DELICIOUS. i also substituted bread pieces for actual pre seasoned bread crumbs and it worked fine!

It was really good. The website recipe card just needs to mention the salt amount. It’s not on the ingredients list, but it’s mentioned in the instructions.

Definitely needs salt and pepper. I thought perhaps the broth and werchestershire sauce would add the necessary salt, but they didn't. I'll continue to search for the ultimate meatloaf recipe.
