  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 15 ounces kidney beans (drained)
  • 15 ounces great northern beans (drained)
  • 12 ounces tomato paste
  • 28 ounces marinara sauce (I used Trader Joe's Tuscano Marinara Sauce)
  • 1 cup water
