Excellent. "Better than any restaurant", from my ( VERY picky) wife! Making it again for company ( but wait until you have Thai basil --it's a key ingredient. Sweet basil just doesn't do it, in my opinion.

Simple and tasty meal. Will make again

Fast and easy if I can get fresh Thai Basil. I subbed jalapeno for red chilis and its still fine. I think this could even use dried red chili flakes in a pinch

I used coconut aminos instead of soy sauce and zucchini noodles instead of rice. One of our family’s favorites.

Awesome but spicy! I cut it by adding orange or mango juice and a dollop of sour cream when serving

Great! I really loved it. I took Pete’s advice and marinated the ground meat in soy sauce for 30mins before cooking. I also added oyster sauce and reduced amount of fish sauce by half. The result was an amazingly delicious meal. I will definitely make it again.

I'm Thai and I love this dish so much! I prefer to marinade the chicken with soy sauces first for at least 30 minutes before I start cooking so that the chicken can absorb the taste better. Fish sauce and oyster sauce are added during stir-fry for 1-2 tps just enough to give the smell and to keep sodium level as low as possible. I usually start with frying the chicken with garlic and red chili using high heat until the chicken turns brown (almost burnt), then reduce heat to medium and add the rest ingredients in. Shallots can be substituted with onions as well, but I usually don't put them in because the smell from shallots can mix up with that from basil leaves. Soy sauces that I use are: thin soy sauce (Healthy Boy), seasoning soy sauce (Golden Mountain) Oyster sauce that I use is either Maekrua Brand or Healthy Boy, but Lee Kum Kee also tastes good.

Very delicious. Had to make a couple substitutions, but it turned out wonderfully.

Delicious however I’d use low sodium soy if you’re not a salt fan it’s not that salty but I’d use the low sodium next time. Oh and 2x basil would make it choice plus

I found the recipe easy to follow and very tasty. I did omit the chilies as some in our family are not partial to spicy food. I did have a hard time finding Thai basil so I had to use sweet basil because it was more abundant (and in my herb garden too).

Delicious and real easy to prepare. I would give this recipe 4 1/2 stars and suggest increasing the soy, sugar and fish sauce by about 25% each. For such a simple recipe, you experience some amazing flavors. Will make again for sure.

It really did only take about 10 minutes! Served over rice with other veggies. Will double recipe next time and serve leftovers in lettuce wraps and I will double the Thai basil. My family devoured it!
