  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
  • 10 ounces baby carrots (frozen, thawed)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons imperial spread
  • 2 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons water

    Directions

    1. Arrange chicken and carrots in broiler pan without the rack; set aside.
    2. Blend Imperial® Spread, sugar, soy sauce, ginger and pepper in small bowl with wire whisk; pour over chicken and carrots. Broil, turning chicken and stirring carrots once, until chicken is thoroughly cooked and carrots are tender. Remove chicken and carrots to serving platter. Add water to broiler pan and stir brown bits from bottom of pan; pour over chicken and carrots.
