- 3 pounds tangerines (about 18, unpeeled, washed, ends trimmed, and cut crosswise into thin slices)

Turned out perfectly! I cut the recipe down because I only had 19 0z of tangerine, cut the sugar to 1.675 cups and the water to 2.5 cups. Followed the rest of the directions exactly, and I have a delicious marmalade to put on toast! Will definitely make again.
