Description

A little paleo-friendly quick meal with a familiar taste. Eat it on it's own or throw it on top of a salad.

  • 1 pound ground beef (if possible use Ground Chuck, Sirloin, or other higher quality beef)
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 tablespoon cayenne pepper (optional, if you like heat)

    Directions

    1. Add ground beef to large skillet and brown. Drain if you have an excess. Sometimes i like to add onions and cook them down to add another depth of flavor to the dish.
    2. While meat is browning, mix your spices in a small bowl.
    3. Once the beef is browned and cooked, add spices and water.
    4. Simmer and cook down to consistency you want. If need be, add more water, and make sure some fat is left so the sauce isn't as watery.
