Very easy and tasty receipe. I added a bit too much water and too little spice, but nonetheless.. Everyone were pleased.

i made mine with chicken breast, doubled the sauce recipe and served it on white rice. It doesnt look nearly as deliciously caramelized as in the main page picture but it was very tasty.

Wasn’t saucy. Water is an ingredient but not mentioned when to add it. I added it at the end but wonder is it better to add it in the Szechuan sauce

This was delicious! I didn’t have the shallots or cornstarch on hand, so I used red onion and whole wheat flour instead. Turned out great and thickened up as needed.

I just used a whole eggplant and made more sauce. The first time I made it I peeled the skin, this time I did not and it tastes better without the skin but its not terrible if you’re feeling lazy or rushed.

It was sooooo good and had the perfect amount of spice I ran out of sesame oil however it did t seem to matter. I used red pepper flakes for my spice and half of a regular white onion instead of pearl onions.
