This turned out great. Super simple and tasty. I’ll probably make it a little spicier in the future because in this house we love spicy. But all in all awesome

My family LOVES this chicken! If it was up to my husband I’d make it twice a week every week. I follow the recipe for the most part but I also sprinkle a little bit of Italian seasonings and add some onion powder. Also i use fresh ground pepper rather than just regular pepper. This “gravy” that the combination of bacon drippings and brown sugar make is a nice little addition to mashed potatoes (and gets you out of having to make gravy lol) but I also will spoon it back over the chicken before serving it. **The the first time I made this chicken I forgot to add the brown sugar at first and didn’t remember until only 15 minutes remained on the timer. I pulled the chicken out, put on a glove, and rubbed the brown sugar onto the chicken like a dry rub. It’s just as delicious except without the “gravy” in the pan. In case someone doesn’t want that. This has definitely became a staple of our family dinners, the kids love it & the hubby:)

Easy and delicious! Baking for 20-25 minutes was enough. Sprinkled on and rubbed in brown sugar instead of rolling in sugar to avoid too much sweetness. That worked well. Cooked the turkey bacon a bit before wrapping (until it’s about to get crispy). Used toothpicks to keep bacon in place.

It was a hit with my twin teens and their friend! A+ for ease to prepare and cook. I added cinnamon and left out the brown sugar. 6 thumbs up!!!!

I suggest if you want crispy bacon to either drain most the grease half way through or drain and broil it for about 10 minutes. We can never go wrong with bacon wrapped anything in our house.

OMG. I only tasted one. Im currrntly waiting on the rest of my dinner to finish up. But this was absolutely DEELISH. I used Turkey bacon because we dont eat pork or beef. I cant have anything spicy so i just used the brown sugar, i used Adobo instead of Salt. I added Garlic Salt and Pepper. and i topped them with Paprika...They came out soooo juicy and tender. Thank you for this recipe. Will try again.

Pretty good recipe I modified it by adding a touch of cayenne and cumin (I live in San Antonio, that’s just how we do things 😂). Perfect recipe to start with and modify as you see fit.

Not that sweet. I used cayenne pepper instead of chili pepper. Don't like that all the seasoning was "to taste" - I get it the reason behind it.
Michele Luney 24 Oct
This was very good. I will use a less fatty bacon next time and less chili powder, but I will make it again.

These were awesome! My boyfriend and two of his friends all loved them. They said it was the best chicken they've had in a long time. I can't cook and this wasn't bad at all. I made my man proud with this one!

Really good and super easy! My family likes a little additional heat so we added cayenne pepper.

Delicious! I made it with chicken fillets rather than chicken breasts, and it tasted just fine. i could use more spice, but the contradicting flavors taste well together.

Bonjour! 10 Sep
This was a good meal! Put the wrapped breasts on the bbq. The only things I changed were honey instead of sugar and chili flakes. Paired it with sautéed zucchini and was delicious!
Daryn 9 Sep
used the cookie rack like others suggested and only cooked for about 20 minutes because 30 sounded too long for my small chicken pieces, but it turned out great! only my 7 year old said it was too sweet, lol.
