Ingredients

wine
7 teaspoons rice vinegar
2 teaspoons mirin
1 teaspoon honey
1 pinch salt
5 teaspoons ketchup
1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
pineapple juice (A bit of)
water (A bit of)
1 teaspoon corn starch
200 grams pork loin
1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
self rising flour
cold water
soy sauce
salt
sunflower oil
1/4 green pepper
1/4 red pepper
1/2 onions

Directions

1For the sweet and sour sauce, heat wine and vinegar in a saucepan.
2In a bowl, mix remaining ingredients, whisking until corn starch is dissolved.
3When wine mixture start to boil, whisk in remaining ingredients.
4Bring to a boil once more and remove from heat.
5Set aside.
6For the pork, cut pork into bite-size cubes and marinate in soy sauce.
7Mix flour with a little ice water, until it forms a paste similar to a thick béchamel.
8Heat sunflower oil in a saucepan or skillet.
9Drain soy sauce from the meat.
10Dip pork pieces in flour paste and water and fry in batches.
11Set aside cooked pieces to drain on paper towel.
12For the vegetables, cut peppers and onions into large pieces.
13Heat oil in a wok and sauté vegetables.
14To serve, arrange cooked vegetables and pork on a plate and serve with sweet and sour sauce.
