  • canola oil cooking spray (A little)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups instant corn masa flour (dried)
  • 2 tablespoons tapioca (powder)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons chipotle chile powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 ounces pecans (diced, or hazelnuts toasted)
  • corn husks (for wrapping soaked in water)
