  • 1/3 cup medjool dates (pitted and soaked in warm water if they need softening)
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup (or rice malt syrup, they will be a little less sweet)
  • 1/2 cup hemp seed (hearts)
  • 2 tablespoons hemp seeds (whole)
  • 2 tablespoons ground flax seeds (or milled, OR chia seeds, to make an egg-substitute*)
  • 2 tablespoons Sunflower Flour (or sunflower seeds)
  • 3 tablespoons raw cacao
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Himalayan pink salt (or fine sea salt)
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil (melted)
  • 3/4 cup apple sauce (unsweetened)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
