Surprisingly bland. Since it was the first time I made it, I didn’t doctor the recipe. Needed salt, pepper, Worcestershire, various other things. Potatoes were a little thinner than I like for a good mash.

I didn't add tomato paste and used half the butter and it still came out awesome! The proportions of each part of the shepherd's pie was perfect and fit my casserole dish just right. I guess it's a sign that the family likes it too when there are barely any leftovers!

Delicious! I made a few changes: ground turkey, pan gravy with butter, flour, chicken stock, and seasoning blend, and fresh nutmeg in the mashed potatoes!

Absolutely delicious. I ended up making my own gravy as the packaged stuff over boiled in the microwave and there wasn’t much left. I added consumme wine and flour to thicken. It was a great touch. It was far better then the junk I had at a local restaurant the other day

This was a relatively easy meal to make. I omitted the green beans and cheese to suit my taste preference. Also, instead of frozen veggies I used fresh from the farmers market and since I was out of tomato paste, I used a can of tomato soup. Great comfort meal on a cool summer day
I thought it was amazing everybody loved it! I doubled the recipe but didn't have all the exact ingredients. I substituted garlic cloves for garlic powder 1/8 of a teaspoon for each clove. I only had one package of gravy mix so I used a 10 oz can of beef broth which I added with the onions. everything turned out perfect and it made enough 8 hungry people will definitely make again!

Recipe was great! My girlfriend and I added jerk sauce to the meat and it tasted fantastic! We also did a egg wash on the top and a layer of potatoes at the bottom for a base :) totally recommend

it was good, instead of carrots and string beans, I used celery and kept the sweet corn and sweet peas. I also used turkey instead of beef, but cooked the ground turkey in beef broth. the cheese as a topping is superb!! loved it! 😋
