  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar (divided)
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise (Hellmann's® or Best Foods®)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°. Grease baking sheets; set aside.
  2. In medium bowl, combine flour and baking powder; set aside.
  3. Add remaining 1/2 cup sugar to small bowl. Moisten flat bottom of a glass with water, then dip moistened bottom in sugar. Gently flatten one cookie with glass. Repeat with remaining cookies.
  4. Bake 6 minutes or until done. Let stand 1 minute on wire rack; remove from sheets and cool completely.
