Description
This glazed pork features Asian flavors for a bold and delicious meal. The combination of ginger and garlic produces a vibrant and exciting flavor combination. This recipe comes together fairly easily for a dish the whole family will enjoy. Serve the pork, and the sauce, over a bowl of rice and vegetables for a complete and filling dinner.

- Cut the pork into thin strips. Finely chop the onion and mince the garlic.
- Caramelize the sugar in a pan with some water. Once the caramel has become golden, add the meat and stir over high heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove the meat with a slotted spoon (the meat may stick to caramel: this is normal and will disappear) and let the juice evaporate a little. Add onions and garlic and brown for a minute. Put the meat back in the pan and add the ginger, oyster sauce, and soy sauce. Mix and cover tightly. Cook over low heat for 1 hour.
- Serve with white rice.
