  • 1 pinch salt (Remember the vadas also has salt in it)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar (optional to balance the sourness from yogurt)
  • 3 tablespoons date (and Tamarinf chutney)
  • 1 pinch chilli powder
  • cumin powder (pinches Roasted)
  • chaat masala (powder)
  • 3 sprigs cilantro (chopped for garnishing, optional)
  • 1 cup chickpea flour (Boondi - its deep fried tiny balls of, available at Indian Groceries, optional)
