- 5 liters water
- salt
- 1 crab
- Old Bay Seasoning
- 1/2 onion
- white wine
Directions
- Bring 5 liters of salted water to a rolling boil in a large pot. Add the crab and some Old Bay seasoning.
- Cook for 15 minutes. Remove from the water and allow to cool.
- Open the crab and remove the meat. Set the legs aside to remove the meat. Clean all meat from the body. Add all meat to a bowl. Reserve the shell.
- Add the onion and a splash of white wine. Mix well and add the mixture to the crab shell. Serve with toasted bread as an accompaniment.

This is a fun and impressive dish that also happens to taste very good. I enjoyed the reaction I got when I told people that stuffed spider crab was what was being served for dinner. I got a few odd looks but those looks all turned appreciative once they tasted the dish!
