Had to use ground beef instead of sausage for my picky kids but it was good! Would make it again. Great way to sneak spinach into my kids without them knowing.

Turned out wonderful!! I have made this dish many times and every time the family had enjoyed it. I like to mix in some Italian sausage with the ground beef to add a little more flavor 💕

This recipe was a hit with the entire family. Kid, adult and picky eater friendly! My Italian father-in-law even said that it was better than his moms and aunts recipe. I decided to add Italian seasoning in the ricotta mixture instead of pepper however and I used organic marinara (my own recipe) which I think really made the difference. Must try!!

I usually suff shells with cod, sub feta for cottage cheese w/ an alfredo sauce. This was just too good with mild Italian sausage, but needed to substitute one of my favourites > spinach due to dietary reasons for chopped broccoli. IF you like sausage; you've got to try this one!! Delicious Mmmmm
