  • 12 white button mushrooms (medium size)
  • 1 slice raisin bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 handful olives (pitted and chopped)
  • 1 handful shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 dash olive oil
  • 1 pinch allspice
  • 1/2 garlic powder (a teaspoon of)
  • 1/2 dried oregano (a teaspoon of)
  • salt
  • black pepper

    Directions

    1. 1. Brush dirt off off mushrooms.
    2. 2. Snap mushroom stems off. Chop roughly.
    3. 3. Combine all the ingredients together and spoon into the mushroom caps, pressing down well to fill out the whole cap and then molding extra filling into neat mounds.
    4. 4. Bake at 200°C for about 20 minutes until the cheese is nicely browned. Serve hot.
