I followed this recipe rather loosely but it still turned out absolutely yummy!!!! A very hearty meal that is great for a cold day or if you're just in the mood for an easy meal for the family. im definitely keeping this for my collection of easily meals to make and serve.

Delish! A tasty break from marinara sauce, heavy, winter dishes.
I prepared it with 1/2 pd Italian ground sausage and 1 pd grd beef. I skipped the canned tomatoes then stirred in tomato pesto. Instead of regular peppers, I used a bag of the very small, mixed color ones.

Loved it I used all hamburger and used tomato sauce instead of the crushed tomatoes
