Ingredients

  • 1 pound strawberries (fresh, hulled and quartered)
  • 2 cups fresh raspberries (if using frozen, just thaw and drain)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 3/4 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg (freshly)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (chilled and cut into small cubes)
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (coarsely, optional)
